Setting Up the Paypal Pro Payment Plugin

In order to configure your Paypal Pro plugin, navigate to Settings > Plugins > Payment Processors.

Click Paypal Pro in the drop-down.

If you are utilizing Paypal Pro, it is recommended to mark Yes next to In Signup so that your clients can pay with Paypal Pro during the signup and payment process.

Field Name Description
One-Time PaymentsSelect YES if you want to allow customers to make one-time payments through this payment processor.
Available in Profile Billing TabThis plugin is available to admins in the user's profile billing tab.
Use PayPal SandboxSelect YES if you want to use the PayPal testing server, so no actual monetary transactions are made. You need to have a developer account with Paypal. Enter the API credentials from your Sandbox account below. To test it, you must be logged into the developer panel (developer.paypal.com) in another browser window for the transaction to be successful.
API UsernameEnter your PayPal API Username Here.
API PasswordEnter your PayPal API Password Here.
API SignatureEnter your PayPal API Signature Here.
VisaSelect YES to allow Visa card acceptance with this plugin. No will prevent this card type.
MastercardSelect YES to allow Master card acceptance with this plugin. No will prevent this card type.
AmericanExpressSelect YES to allow American Express acceptance with this plugin. No will prevent this card type.
DiscoverSelect YES to allow Discover card acceptance with this plugin. No will prevent this card type.
Signup NameSelect the name to display in the signup process for this payment type. Example: Credit Card.
