# License Transfer

Transferring ownership of your purchased license is prohibited unless written permission is obtained from CLIENTEXEC. Only owners with **active** support will be able to transfer ownership. There will be a transfer fee of **$25 USD** to the new owner. 

Licenses may be transferred if:

1. The license was purchased from Clientexec and not through a reseller.
2. The license is an owned license, and has a currently active Support term. If support has expired, it must first be extended.
