# Allowing guests access to Knowledgebase

By default, guests will not have access to view the Knowledgebase.

1. To enable this access for your guests you would go to  **Settings**  >  **Users**  >  **Client Groups**  > **Guest (system)** > **Edit Permissions** > **Knowledgebase Permissions**
2. Click on the enable button, then you will be presented with other options which you can also allow your guests to **View An Article**, **View A Category** and **Post Comments** - (To ensure that your guests can view the articles, also enable the **View An Article** option.)
3. Once done, click the **Update Permissions** button.
